# PostgreSQL Flexible Server not configured with private endpoint misconfiguration detected in code

## Impact

The rule checks whether PostgreSQL Flexible Server instances are configured with a private endpoint. A private endpoint allows secure access to the database server over a private network instead of the public internet.

Not configuring the PostgreSQL Flexible Server with a private endpoint can expose the database to unauthorized access and vulnerabilities. This creates a significant security risk as sensitive data may be accessible to potential attackers who could exploit the public endpoint. Utilizing a private endpoint helps to isolate the database from the public internet, thereby enhancing security and reducing the attack surface.

## Ensure that your PostgreSQL Flexible Server is configured with a private endpoint. This can be done by adding a `azurerm_private_endpoint` block that is connected to the `azurerm_postgresql_flexible_server` resource. \[source,go]
