Configure and View Settings for the Cortex XDR Agent App for Android

Learn how to configure and view device settings.

You can configure some of the app settings, and view how others on your device are configured by your organization. Configurable settings include language, notifications and mobile data uploads. Read-only settings include policy and activation details.

Configurable App Settings

• Language

  1. From the home page, open the menu at the top left, and tap Settings → Language.
  2. Choose a language, and tap Done.
• Check connectivity to the Cortex XDR server.

  2. Tap Check Connection.
• Mobile data uploads—Enable the use of mobile data services to upload apps to Cortex XDR for analysis.

  1. From the home page, open the menu at the top left, and tap Settings → Connections.
  2. To use mobile data to upload apps to the cloud server, slide the toggle.
• Notifications—Disable or enable notifications from Cortex XDR on your device.

  1. From the home page, open the menu at the top left, and tap Settings → Notifications.
  2. Tap the desired check boxes to disable (clear) or enable (selected) notifications.

Read-only App Settings

• Policy—View the protection settings configured by your organization, including action mode, local analysis protection and policy for unknown apps.

  • From the home page, open the menu at the top left, and tap Settings → Policy.
• Activation details—View activation time, Endpoint ID of your device, and Android ID.

  • From the home page, open the menu at the top left, and tap Settings → Activation.
