Create a Cortex XDR agent tag

Create tags to identify and manage groups of Cortex XDR agents.

Use agent tags to identify Cortex XDR agents that share a purpose or configuration.

Before you begin

Verify that you have administrator permissions.

Create an agent tag

1. In Cortex XDR, select Endpoints → Agent Settings → Agent Tags.
2. Select Add Tag.
3. Enter a unique name for the tag.
4. Enter a description, if needed.
5. Select Create.

The tag is available when you assign tags to Cortex XDR agents.
