# Export an alert as a PDF

You can export the information for an alert in the form of a PDF report.

1. Navigate to **Incident Response** → **Incidents** and click on the incident in the incident list. The incident details will display in the pane on the right.
2. In the details pane, select the **Alerts** tab, and click on the alert.
3. At the top right of the alert details pane, click the **Export** button ![export-button.png](/files/HOFFCBvuxUJjECK0L0uG)to generate the PDF report.

You can also generate a PDF of an alert from the **Alerts** table by clicking on an alert in the table, and clicking the **Export** button on the alert details page.
