# Data Retention Policy

* Initial Data Load—At the start of a subscription, Cortex Xpanse provides customers with up to 30 days of historical services and websites data.
* Ongoing Data Retention—Going forward, Cortex Xpanse stores services and websites observed by our scanners in the previous 30 days. Cortex Xpanse reserves the right to remove data sooner than 30 days depending on the size of a customer’s network.
