# Onboarding checklist for multi-tenant customer-owned license deployments

We recommend that you review the following steps to successfully deploy and onboard Cortex XSIAM with customer-owned licenses. This checklist enables you to set up a multi-tenant deployment. After onboarding, you should configure Cortex XSIAM to suit your needs. For more information, see [Configure Cortex XSIAM](/cortex-xsiam/configure-cortex-xsiam/configure-cortex-xsiam.md).
